En esta serie se describen imágenes que le fueron realizadas a José Carlos Mariátegui por artistas plásticos durante su vida y después de su muerte. Las imágenes que corresponden a la fase póstuma fueron recopiladas por la familia y publicadas posteriormente en el libro Mariátegui total (1994).
Se trata de pinturas al óleo, esculturas, dibujos y grabados. Algunas de estas obras forman parte del acervo del Archivo Mariátegui, mientras que otras fueron recopiladas por la familia, de las cuales solo se conserva una versión en formato digital.
